  त्यागको कथा सपनाहरू आँखामा थिए, तर जीवनले बाटो फेरेर ल्यायो। आफ्नै रहरहरू एकएक गर्दै चुँडिए, र बाध्यताले काखमा टाँसियो सानो नानी , म। बुबाआमाको घर पर पर छुट्यो, नयाँ घर, नयाँ नियम, नयाँ पीडा। सानै उमेरमा आमा बनिन् मेरी आमा, र आफूभन्दा अघि अरूलाई राख्न सिकिन्। कति चोट लुकाएर मुस्काइन्, कति पीडा चुपचाप पचाइन्। उहाँको निधारमा पसिनाजस्तै बोल्दथ्यो दुःख, तर आवाज कहिल्यै आउँदैनथ्यो ओठबाट। हामीलाई केही कम नहोस् भनेर, आफ्नो मनका सपनालाई चुपचाप गाडिन्। माया दिन कहिल्यै थाकिनन्, अनि कहिल्यै गुनासो गरिनन्। आज जब म लड्छु, उहाँका आँखा पहिले बग्छन्। म सपनाबाट चिप्लिन खोज्दा, उहाँको दिल भतभत पोल्छ। कहिलेकाहीं भन्छिन्: "मलाई तिमीभित्र आफ्नै सपना देखिन्छ।" त्यही वाक्यले बिउँझिन्छु म  र आफैँसँग बाचा गर्छु, म जित्नेछु... त्यसैको निम्ति, जसले आफ्नो जीवन हारिन्। उहाँको शिर गर्वले उठोस् भनेर, म मेरो सारा जीवन सुम्पन्छु आमाको नाममा। लेखक: लक्ष्मी पराजुली
